Giorgi Gakheladze Sets a World Record with Wissol’s Support

At just 23 years old, Giorgi Gakheladze became the first Georgian enduro motorcyclist to ride 33 kilometers on water, setting a new world record.

Using a specially equipped enduro motorcycle, Giorgi covered the distance from Kobuleti’s New Boulevard shoreline to Maltakva Beach in Poti in just 33 minutes, reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h. With this feat, he surpassed the previous record set by Australian rider Robbie Maddison and secured his place in the history books.

“I would like to sincerely thank Wissol for their unwavering support,” Giorgi said. “Many companies hesitate to back such projects because of the risks and uncertainties involved. Wissol was the only company that decided to take this on and supported me wholeheartedly. Together, we overcame countless challenges and made this dream a reality.”

The record-holder also shared his plans for the future, revealing his next ambitious goal: climbing Mount Kazbek on a motorcycle.

Since 2017, Giorgi Gakheladze has remained undefeated in Georgia’s enduro championships. Wissol has been a loyal supporter of his extreme sports endeavors, helping to turn bold dreams into reality.
